Oteil Burbridge and Danny Morris

Bass master Oteil Burbridge—best known as the bassist for the Allman Brothers Band—recently visited Danny Morris‘ Bass Player Workshop at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Burbridge shared his thoughts on music and performance. “Funny how the conversation with students dealt with the expression of emotion and life experience,” Morris said. “This is so evident in Oteil’s playing.”

“It was a joy to play with Oteil and communicate through sound. He is a wonderful person and, yes, musician.”

Morris’ Berkleemusic online course, Bass Performance 101, is enrolling now. Fall term begins September 29th.
