Celebrity Online Scholarship Program - Winter 2009

The deadline for our winter term Celebrity Online Scholarship Program is coming up fast. Apply by November 2nd.

Each term, Berkleemusic recognizes sixteen of our best and brightest online students for outstanding performance in our certificate programs. These students are each awarded a $1250 scholarship in the name of a renowned music education champion.

The Fall 2008 scholarship honorees and recipients were:

  • BT Scholarship: Michael Campion Leczinsky, Gianluigi D’Autilia, Henrique Matulis Filho, and Michael Wooten
  • Alf Clausen Scholarship: Katie Gosnell, Peter Jonatan, Angel Smith, and Stephen Woodard
  • Juan Luis Guerra Scholarship: Celeste Cresswell, Erin Daniels, Maria Paz Escudero, and Carlos Perez Velilla
  • Patty Larkin Scholarship: Amanda Knollman, Andrea Olson, Branden Petersen, and Scott Tuttle

Guitar Chords 201 by Rick Peckham - Master Berklee’s approach to playing guitar chords. Improve your style, intonation, technique, time feel, and tone in this in-depth course. Explore open triads, seventh chord structures, open triadic shapes, and inversions in a variety of musical styles.

Designed to reward and assist outstanding online students who demonstrate superior performance studying in Certificate Programs at Berkleemusic, these quarterly scholarships are awarded in the name of renowned music education champions. This term’s scholarships are named in honor of Alf Clausen, BT, Juan Luis Guerra, and Patty Larkin.

The student recipients of each Celebrity Online Scholarship will receive an award of $1,250 to be used towards paying their tuition and helping them achieve their goals.

The Summer 2008 scholarship honorees and recipients were:
